I’ve been working offline most of the time. I did gallery pages for my nephews Kyle, Tutti, Kenky — and niece Sugar. Plus a lot more pages for my family’s website…. I know, I know… you’d tell me to relax and have fun… but well, I’m just running out of time…. School days will start on Monday and that would mean I won’t have much time online like I used to.
The other day, I was in the city… I mailed a letter for my sister who’s now homesick in Riyadh…. I also went to see my Aunt-dentist… I saw my cousin, It-it, there and we chatted for about an hour… It-it has always been close to me when we were kids… We used to write to each other when we were growing up… We also shared our dreams together… But that was a long time ago.
When she became a doctor, she got a bf, got married, had kids — then we lost touch for years. So it was great to catch up with her there at my Aunt’s clinic… and we lost track of our time, just talking about how life has been for us. Then it was time to say goodbye, exchange email addresses, phone numbers…
Yesterday, my brother came home with his wife and daughter, Sugar. I had some time with him and the baby… I was finally catching up with family affairs. And it felt good.
This morning, I showed the uploaded pages to my mom and the kids. Kenky was dancing to the music which I have embedded in his photo album. I was glad to see him that way because kids tell the truth. Whenever I’d see kids appreciate the pages I made, I’d know it’s truly nice. So…. I’m really happy that he’s happy.
