Thank God, it’s Friday and I can sit back for awhile. I always expect no sign of life in the Fitchburg blogosphere during Fridays because it happens every time. Blogs are usually busy during the week. They are full of people trying to catch the buzz — some of them supply information, some of them just grumble. Most of them are in despair seeking for change.But now that it’s Friday, nothing is posted or added. There’s no spark. No reaction. No whining. There’s only silence. Only stillness and peace abide.
I guess it’s because at the end of a long working week, people don’t have the energy to discuss and fuss. They’re too tired to be outraged. So, they lighten up a bit and put aside politics and hostility.
But is there really peace in the city just because people are too tired to care? Ummm. Ummm.
